The New Year arrived in Russia today at 07:00 EST
Residents of Kamchatka and Chukotka on the Russian Pacific coast were the first in Russia to celebrate the New Year 2021, as in the most eastern regions of the country, it has already come to midnight (at 3:00 PM Moscow time which is 7:00 AM EST).
On New Year's Eve, in the largest city of Chukotka it was about -13oC (8.6oF)
