The Russian Sputnik V coronavirus vaccine has been shown to be more than 90 percent effective in people over 60, according to the manufacturer.
"The Russian Ministry of Health approved the use of the vaccine for people over 60 years of age after clinical trials that have shown complete safety and efficacy over 90% in this age group," the vaccine manufacturer said on Twitter.
