More than 800,000 Russians already vaccinated against the coronavirus

More than 800,000 residents of Russia were vaccinated against the coronavirus infection as part of a large-scale vaccination, Health Minister Mikhail Murashko said. 

He also said that the regions received over 1.5 million doses of vaccine. “Vaccination is going on very actively,” the TASS news agency quoted him as saying. 

In addition, Murashko said that beginning January 1, citizens who have been vaccinated can receive a vaccination certificate via their personal accounts on the public services portal.

According to the head of the Ministry of Industry and Trade Denis Manturov, over two million doses of the domestic vaccine Sputnik V have been already manufactured in Russia.
