Russian rugged SUV UAZ "Patriot" will be sold in the US

Russian SUV UAZ "Patriot" will start selling in the United States in 2021 under the Bremach Taos brand. The seller will be a US branch of the Italian company "Bremach".

The vehicle has been modified for the US standards.  The SUVs will be assembled in California, RIA Novosti news agency reported.

The vehicle has a six-speed automatic transmission and a four-cylinder 2.7-liter, 150 horsepower engine. The Bremach Taos powertrain is guaranteed for ten years or more than 190 thousand kilometers. The warranty for the entire vehicle is five years or 96,560 kilometers. The retail prices start from $26,000. 

UAZ "Patriot" is one of the ten most popular cars in Russia.
